RENTALS - FAQ

HOW DO I CONTACT YOU REGARDING AN ITEM'S AVAILABILITY?

IS THERE A MINIMUM TOTAL FOR RENTALS?

Yes, we require a $65 minimum total rental. 

FOR HOW LONG CAN I RENT AN ITEM?

The total standard rental period is three consecutive days. This includes one day for pickup, one day for your event, and one day for you to return it. 

Additional Days: You can rent an item for additional days at a decreased rate. Additional days are charged at half of the item's rental price per each additional day.

Weekends: Weekend rentals are structured a bit differently. If your event is on a Friday or Saturday, please plan to pick up the items one day prior to your event; however, you would not have to return the items until Monday.

WHAT FEES ARE INVOLVED?

Delivery: If you choose delivery, the delivery base fee starts at $80. This is subject to change based on location and associated mileage.

Sales tax: Sales tax will be added to your rental purchase.

Damage and loss fees: Standard damage and loss fees are equal to three times the amount of the item's rental price. Please note: additional fees may apply for specialty items.

WHAT IF I WOULD LIKE TO PICK UP AND RETURN MY ITEMS?

You may choose to pick up your items rather than have them delivered. The pickup location is in Rockford, MN. The specific address will be provided when your deposit is received.

OKAY, I AM READY TO PLACE A HOLD ON MY AVAILABLE ITEMS! WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?

After confirming with us that your items are available on your requested dates, we require a 50% deposit to hold your items. This includes all of the fees noted above. The remaining 50% is due two weeks prior to your event.

WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT ARE ACCEPTED?

We accept cash or check for the 50% deposit and for the payment in full.

WHAT IS YOUR POLICY ON USING THESE ITEMS WITH FOOD?

Please see the individual item pages for any food usage information. Generally speaking, we ask that all pieces used with food be rinsed and dried and that there be no food scraps or residue when returned. 

DO YOU EVER CURATE NEW ITEMS OR SHOP FOR CLIENTS SPECIFICALLY?

Yes! And we love to do so! We charge an hourly rate of $40/Hour. Rental fees for the items selected will also apply. Please inquire via hello@uncommoncs.com to help us get started!
